Erich Berg, DO

Dr. Erich Berg is originally from Wisconsin and first became interested in Ophthalmology in 2014 after working as a researcher on cutting-edge clinical trials in eye surgery. Following undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Berg graduated from medical school at Midwestern University in Arizona, testing above the 90th percentile on the United States Medical Licensing Exam. He completed an internship year followed by a three-year residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Louisville, where he served as Chief Resident.
As an eye physician and surgeon, Dr. Berg has published several manuscripts and is a current member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. His areas of practice include cataract, glaucoma, refractive/laser surgery (LASIK), and ocular trauma surgery.

The best part of Dr. Berg's career is enhancing the lives of patients through compassionate, individualized care for their vision, using the latest technologies. Outside of Ophthalmology, Dr. Berg can be found on the golf course, cooking s'mores on the backyard campfire, and spending time with his wife Lauren and three children (Madison, Evelyn, Benjamin).
