In 2019, Dr. Perez Garcia became ECFMG certified and embarked on her ophthalmic journey to care for patients in the United States. She furthered her expertise by completing a one-year Medical Retina Fellowship at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida followed by two years in a comprehensive Medical and Surgical Retina fellowship at the University of Florida.
Dr. Perez Garcia is bilingual in both English and Spanish, enabling her to effectively care for a diverse range of patients. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Perez Garcia enjoys cultural pursuits such as theater, ballet, and salsa dancing. She also finds time to unwind by playing table tennis and spending quality time with her family.
